I’ve switched, when will you?

One of the key factors why I hate emails and to check emails is, that I have a lot of them, one for each specific field. One could be, webmaster at pinoyteens dot net, in which people send in inquiries and questions about the site in general. Another one would be mailme at kevin paquet dot com, which is a more personal email account of mine in which I mostly handle with spam, spam, and personal emails that hit me. I’m also using yahoo mail (which is actually my primary email service) for 2 emails, i.believe_11 and popsterkevin.

All those stuff seem to be too much for me, let’s not forget; there are still a few more email accounts I’m dealing with. Yet, in order to get them all by 1 click on one place, I’ve checked out Mozilla’s Thunderbird email client, which works well for me, but not at all times. I just get tired clicking on each and every email account every time I want to check if there are new emails. There should be a one click alternative, really. Even more I get tired to hang on waiting for this application to start on my very slow computer, which often takes minutes to do so. So, I looked. And looked. And looked, for a new alternative, until I found my new friend.

From now on, GMAIL is my new partner and friend when it comes to email services and usage. It suits me best because I don’t need to launch a application or what so ever to make use of this one, all that is needed is my Google Account (which is also my AdSense account) and with a few clicks, I have my manual web based email client running and checking all my inboxes, without having years to wait for a application even to start!

The only side effect from using GMAIL is, that I cannot make use of this for Yahoo Mail, because Yahoo Mail requires some stupid Premium stuff, which is really annoying. Another vital point which annoys me most is the right banner advert in their new email client, which often makes my computer lag and my firefox crash (pity my slow processor).

So, there we have it then. I’ve switched, when will you?

Although, I have to admit, the gTalk is not really that well developed than the Yahoo Messenger which I’ll still be making use of, just not with the Yahoo Messenger software but with another software which allows me to make use of all my messenger accounts in real time, at the same time. But that’s another story, which is another post worth.
