AlertPay vs Paypal
There has been quite a debate now for sometime, about the topic clearly stated in my posts title. Paypal is moving down, Alertpay is going up. I’ve recently created a account on AlertPay but can’t tell anything about their services yet if they are efficient or not. Since I haven’t made use of any of their services up to this very minute that I’m writing this post.
But anyways, as said above, there are people saying that Paypal has got some security flaws right now? While I hear other people recommending AlertPay on the other end. Which is which? Will Paypal still be the number 1 choice for internet users and webmasters, or will AlertPay make it through someday, sometime up front?
Attention! Achtung! Hoy, ikaw!

Paypal parin. #1 parin yan kahit saan
I don’t understand the hoopla against PayPal, its solid service. It’s ebay that has the problems. AlertPay is too unknown to warrant any appraisal it could be far greater risk than PayPal.
Until recently I hadn’t heard of AlertPay, until I was forced to join same (on July 17th) in order to transact a payment with an organisation (based in the US) - who used them as a payment intermediary.
Suffice it to say, I’ll not go into detail here with regard to the my encounter with this outfit, however in all my experience in business, I’ve never had the misfortune to deal with an organisation run on such incompetence and ineptitude. Thier service is utterly abysmal and it’s pretty obvious that they don’t give a damn about their customers. If this company had been based within the UK, the Financial Services Authority would have shut them down a long time ago. Given the choice I’d rather do business with Al Qaeda!
What a way to run a business!
Unfortunately the US organisation I was dealing with didn’t use PayPal - if they had, then my transaction with them would have been concluded on day one - done and dusted!
Do yourself a big favour and steer clear of this utterly useless organisation.
@Prince -
I have been using PayPal for 5 years.
I have been having increasing problems with PayPal!
My most recent problems have been them being too busy to even read or verify proof offered to them for a claim…
Even with requesting reopening the claim and offering more proof.(7 faxes to the 7 photos)
I still lost 110.10.
Calling them to discuss this to offer more incite to the facts proved fruitless!
PROOF OF MY CLAIMING THEIR NEGLECTING TO EVEN READ MY INFO BEFORE MAKING A DECISION.
Comes from a request from them to verify return of item.
There was 5 items in the set, My 1’st response to all this offered the info they sought!
Missing parts and it was modified to a different design…
Their request for an answer didn’t offer any place to say ,missing items or incomplete return.
Upon responding to a return of most of the set.
They returned his $ in 3 minutes!
2 requests for reopening proved hopeless!!!
I have closed all PayPal & Ebay accounts.
I’m seeking newer/ hungry alternatives!
