Father’s Day

9:21 am by Admin. Filed under: Geek Books

I wrote a post about Mothers Day and I could not leave the fathers out . Fathers are special too, and sometimes are hard to buy for on Father’s day. I dont know about your father but mine would love a box of cigars from his favorite outlet store. There are also cigars of the month clubs that you can order too.

You could order a case of golf balls, secure him a round of golf at a local green, or a nice case of wine.

There are so many options, just make sure you dont  forget the dad!

The Top Eight Awful Batman Symbol Tattoos

9:41 pm by Admin. Filed under: Geek Movies

While there are certainly a frightening amount of fanboys who have permanently scarred their chests with Batman symbol tattoos, you’d be surprised how people can embarrass themselves with Batman symbol tattoos on other parts of their bodies.

Or maybe you wouldn’t be surprised. I hear cynicism is contagious, and I’ve been drinking out of your mug when you weren’t looking.

8) The These-Are-Definitely-Not-Batman’s-Pecs Batman Symbol Chest Tattoo

“Bird-chested” and “Batman” aren’t typically two things that go together.

7) The “I Am Batman” Hand Tattoo

I am… losing any chance of respect from future employers, in-laws, and grandchildren.

…going to regret this.

…not at all Batman.

6) The Batpug Tattoo

Nana nana nana nana nana nana nana nana BATPUUUUUUG!

…is sad that you treat your back like a laboratory of permanent ink.

5) The Hairy, Dripping Batman Symbol Tattoo

Well, there’s good news:

Thanks to poor placement (i.e., anywhere on the body of a Sasquatch), this Batman symbol tattoo will soon be so-overgrown with distractingly-thick-and-curly hair that it won’t occur to anyone to think that the “dripping” effect was a terrible, terrible idea.

4) The Sad Little Asymmetrical Batman Symbol Back Tattoo

“I couldn’t decide between making my Batman tattoo too small, too lopsided, or too boring, so I went with all three. And then put it in a really conspicuous place in the middle of my back. … Now where’s that trophy for winning at life that you promised me?”

3) The Tribal Batman Symbol Tramp Stamp

Hey, maybe you can make your Batman symbol tramp stamp even more tribal next time… because this time, you stopped just short of a white-trash explosion, and that’s something we all need to see. For science!

(Sorry, I realize “tramp stamp” is kind of offensive. What I meant was, “mark of the ho.”)

2) The S&M Batman Symbol Chest Tattoo

One of the best-executed Batman symbol tattoos on the list is also one of the most difficult to behold.

Unless you’re into this kind of thing. In which case, I don’t judge… but mostly because I don’t want you to whip me with your leather switch.

So lifelike and horrifying that I think I just caught rabies from looking at it.

This is How It Happened

10:11 pm by Admin. Filed under: Geek Books

So this is how it happened. What am I talking about? I meet my husband through a free online dating site.

I was quite surprised at myself, but had bad luck in finding guys , decent ones in real life. We live in a small town and I knew I did not want one from the bar or from a local church. Long story about the church ! LOL.

We talked for a month and we finally met at a local steak house. I even had my friend drive me so he would not know what vehicle I drove for safety purposes.

Six months later we bought a house together! A year later we married and had a wonderful sweet little girl. Now, I do not know what my life would be without him, I just can not imagine it!

My best friend just found her a guy and she met him through an online dating site! I hope she has the same luck  I did!

The Top Six Terrible Spider-Man Tattoos

10:25 am by Admin. Filed under: Geek Movies

The Spider-Man musical gets a lot of the attention these days, but it’s not the only terrible thing featuring Spidey’s hapless mug.

6) The Spider-Man Tramp Stamp (P.S. WTF?)

Nice job. Now, every time someone looks at you from behind, they’re going to wonder why Spider-Man’s spider-sense is tingling and he’s asking himself “WTF?” while he’s in the immediate vicinity of a potentially vaporous region of your body.

This is a pretty good prank; I’m just wondering why you decided to play it on yourself.

5) The Spider-Man Symbol Back Tattoo

Um. Hey. I think you’ve got something on your back.

4) The Spider-Man Sock Tattoo

Further evidence that no one has ever un-ironically said, “Hey, check out that wicked sock tattoo.”

3) The Overgrown Spider-Man Symbol Chest Tattoo

I spoke too soon.

1) The Terrible Spider-Man Figure Tattoos

I’m not sure what’s more distracting in this Spider-Man tattoo: what passes for Spidey’s right leg, the bloody webbing, or the prospect that someone let an enthusiastic sixth-grader experiment with tattooing for the first time.

Take Multivitamins, Kthxs

11:33 am by Admin. Filed under: Geek Books

The most common complaint I hear about peoples health is they are tired or have no energy.  You ask them how they are doing, and the answer is almost negative !

One of the first things I ask them are you taking a multivitamin? They say yeah, or sometimes.

I ask them what food are you putting in your body? Just normal stuff. ( normal stuff being processed McDonald, some big chain restaurant, or some diner food)

Third question is, what sorts of liquids are you putting in your body? ( pepsi, sweet tea, orange juice, etc)

I think in the back of my mind, YEP, I know why you feel bad. Have you ever thought about giving your body a break from all that processed food and liquid? Have you ever thought you are not getting enough vitamins through your “normal diet”.

I dare anyone to not go out and eat for an entire week. I dare you to take vitamins for a month . At the end of the month, tell me how you feel.
